Pottstown
Borough Council has recently voted to disband and
reorganize itself in what appears to be a no confidence
vote against current President David Garner. I would
like to offer some thoughts and observations about the
current situation here in Pottstown.

once a year event is in Pottstown again this weekend at
Memorial Park. With 106 nets this year, compared
to last years 96, and over 500 teams entered, this
year's event is the largest ever!

Thunder & Hail Storm Blasts Pottstown on
Friday.
Pottstown was blasted with rain & hail today.
As you can see below in the

Keeler) Trees blown down, property damage & hail
was abundant. The initial storm lasted for about
30 minutes. Right in front of our office on
Hanover Street there were large swirls of air, branches
& leaves.

had the pleasure of attending Village Production's
offering of the 1970's classic "The Wiz" on this sunny
Father's Day afternoon. Having attending "Miracle On
34th Street" in December at the
Tri-County Performing
Arts Center, I had high expectations for this production
as well. I was not disappointed!

Public Notice! Attention Parents!
Later Sundown Times Do Not Change Curfew Times!
Ordinance No. 1752 places a curfew on minors under the
age of eighteen (18). Sunday through Thursday minors
must observe the curfew from 9:30 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. and
on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M.
It is unlawful for any minor to be or remain in or upon
any public highway, street, road, alley, park or other
public place or in any enclosure or vehicle which is on
or in close proximity to any such street, road, alley,
highway, park or other public place within the Borough
of Pottstown.
This does not apply to minors with parents and
guardians, minors with statements of why they are out,
such as for reasons of returning from work, church,
school and recreational activities and also for
emergency errands.

Harper is long time music man with a background in the
sounds ranging from blues to jazz, alternative folk and
reggae. Ben has now joined up in a new band with Jason
Mozersky on the guitar, Jesse Ingals on bass, Jordan
Richardson on drums, and of course Ben Harper as lead
singer/guitar.
