Septa Offering Broad Street Line Sports Express Service

If two raucous arenas in South Philadelphia are simultaneously featuring entertainment and sports but none of the spectators get to the events on time, do the events still make a sound?

Of course they do. And SEPTA service gets you there faster so you don’t miss a minute of the action.

For the Phillies postseason afternoon games, there will two Sports Express trains leaving Fern Rock Transportation Center at 1:28 p.m. and 1:41 p.m.

The Broad Street Line is the absolute best route to all the events at the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia. The Line offers quick service and unbeatable convenience without parking hassles or lengthy traffic jams.

SEPTA also operates special Sports Express service on the Broad Street Line to a number of events in South Philadelphia, making stops at Fern Rock, Olney, Erie, Girard, Race-Vine, Spring Garden, City Hall and Walnut-Locust en route to Pattison Station. Riders can also travel from City Hall to Pattison in only 11 minutes on the Line’s frequent local service. After events, passengers will find northbound trains standing by to provide local and express service back to Fern Rock. All Regional Rail Lines, the Market-Frankford Line and many trolley and bus routes provide convenient connections with the Broad Street Line. Free weekend parking is available in all Regional Rail lots.

The choice is yours. You can yell and scream at other drivers while stuck in traffic or you can shout and holler at the arena and leave the driving to SEPTA.
