Pottstown Yard Waste Notice

The next yard material collection for Pottstown residents is scheduled for October 1st and 2nd.

If your trash is collected on a Thursday, your yard material collection will be on October 1st.

If your trash is collected on a Friday, your yard material collection will be on October 2nd.

Leaves will be collected for 9 weeks starting in October and ending in December. Christmas trees will be collected for 4 weeks in January.

In the event that a holiday falls on a Thursday/Friday, then yard material collection will be the next workday. Grass clippings will not be collected as part of the yard material collection program. Yard material will only be collected in cans or biodegradable paper bags. No yard material will be collected in plastic bags. Items to be collected are as follow:

1. Hedge clippings, small branches, leaves, plants, shrubbery, and other
vegetation that can be composted.
2. All branches must be tied in bundles no more than 3- 4 feet in length.
