Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 7:30 – 8:30 AM at the Chamber Conference Center*, 152 High Street, Suite 360, Pottstown.
Representing both PMMC and Occupational Health Department of PMMC, Pat Eltz, RN,MSN, the Community Health Specialist for Pottstown Memorial Medical Center (PMMC), will walk-through the “Preparing for the Flu: A Communication Toolkit for Businesses and Employers”.
The purpose of “Preparing for the Flu: A Communication Toolkit for Businesses and Employers” is to provide information and communication resources to help businesses and employers implement recommendations from CDC’s Guidance for Businesses and Employers to Plan and Respond to the 2009-2010 Influenza Season.
As stated by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, many experts are predicting that the H1N1 flu will peak in the United States in mid-October. The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce has made it their PRIORITY to provide this informational seminar at no charge to all Chamber Members to help businesses better prepare.

PARKING: There is NO visitor parking available at the Security Trust Building, 152 High St. Parking is available on High St. for up to 3 hours at no charge or in the Freight Station Municipal lot, across the railroad tracks for $.10 per hour (enter off of Hanover St.). You must have a permit to park in the 152 lot or you will be ticketed.
