When god gives you apples…turn them into a band.
Local Pottstown band, Green Apple Squared lit up the Hard Bean Café in Boyertown on Friday September 11th. This dynamo music duo consists of Chip Rosenberry on vocals and Keith Privigyi on guitar.
Unfortunately due to some complications on Route 422, I was only able to make it there for the second set. Walking in, seeing an excellent turn out with chairs and couches filled, I knew I was in for a treat.
This band totally rocked playing some all-time favorites including Sublimes, “What I Got,” Cheap Tricks “I Want You to Want Me,” and Weezers “Hash Pipe.” During the show, Rosenberry was able to show off his rhythmic range and awesome set of pipes, belting out the lyrics.
To end the night Privigyi, (just recovering from surgery might I add) shredded down the fret board to Van Halen’s “Eruption.”
Keep an eye out for the Pottstown Herald exclusive interview with the band.
Green Apple Squared is currently taking requests for shows (bars, clubs and local events.) For more information email Chip Rosenberry here bamboodle@msn.com
