Montco beats RACC

The Mustangs women’s soccer team topped the Reading Area Community College Ravens 9-3 Saturday.

Competing for a crowd of local families in attendance as part of Montgomery County Community College’s 16th Annual Community Day the Mustangs delivered a star performance in their victory over the Ravens.

Scoring two apiece and leading the attack for the Mustangs were sophomore Stephanie Doran (Lansdale Catholic), freshman Jeannine Mason (Methacton) and freshman Katie Miller (Plymouth Whitemarsh). Goals were also scored by freshmen Abigail Fairley (Upper Merion) and Megan Kelly (North Penn) and sophomore Katelyn Mathe (North Penn).

This win improves the Mustangs’ record to 6-3. Montgomery County Community College women’s soccer team will travel to Sussex County Community College Monday Oct. 5 for a 4 p.m. competition.
