Laurel House Holding 5K DASH Against Domestic Violence

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Laurel House is holding it’s 10th annual 5K DASH Against domestic violence. Laurel House is Montgomery County’s comprehensive domestic violence agency. All proceeds will benefit our domestic violence programs.
Laurel House is hosting its annual 5K Dash Against Domestic Violence, October 25, 2009.
The run/walk begins at 8 am with registration at the Upper Gwynedd Township Building, located at Parkside Place and Sumneytown Pike, West Point PA.

Laurel House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency serving individuals, families and communities throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The agency’s first program, a domestic violence shelter for abused women and their children, was founded by the Women’s Center of Montgomery County in 1980. In 1981, Laurel House was incorporated as an independent nonprofit organization.
Laurel House is dedicated to the vision of ending domestic violence in each life, home, and community. Our mission is to provide safe haven for abused women and their children, to raise public awareness about domestic violence, and to advocate for social change against domestic violence.
