itriageLet’s say you have a headache and want to know the possible causes. iTriage can easily list the potential causes with the following information about each disease:

  • Description
  • Standard Work Up
  • Common Symptoms
  • Standard Treatment
  • Ability to search the web for further information
  • Access to Nurse or Physician Advice Lines
  • Facility Locator using geolocation or zip code

iTriage was created by two Emergency Department physicians to help make more educated healthcare decisions in the acute care setting, especially regarding the appropriate point of care.  iTriage provides users with access relevant medical information when it is most important to them, allowing them to find the most appropriate facility to receive care. If something hurts or doesn’t feel right a decision is going to be made, to stay home and do nothing, to call a nurse or doctor for advice, to search for more information, or to seek medical treatment. Shouldn’t you make this decision with the best information possible? We call this “actionable data.”

Peter Hudson, MD and Wayne Guerra, MD, MBA created iTriage as a medium for healthcare providers to interface with potential patients and customers at the critical point of illness or injury.  Have you ever wondered what healthcare facility you should visit for your medical problem? iTriage will direct you to the appropriate level of care depending on the disease you are searching. This is important because an emergency department can cost 5-10 times more than urgent care clinics or retail clinics. Alternatively, for some disorders the emergency department is the only option. Being able to find the facility that can best serve your healthcare needs enables you to receive the treatment you require quickly and efficiently. iTriage can geo-locate the closest emergency departments, urgent care clinics, retail clinics, or physicians and pharmacies, by searching within a 10, 20 or 50 mile radius or by using your zip code.

iTriage can be downloaded from the app store on the iPhone, viewed on any smartphone with an internet browser and connectivity, or accessed on your desktop by using the same URL www.itriagehealth.com. Please visit www.healthagen.com for additional information.  If you would like more information or to interview Dr. Wayne Guerra or Dr. Peter Hudson please call Hugo Lallo at 720-496-2205 or email Hugo at hlallo@healthagen.net
