Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser for the Pottstown Public Library

The Board of Directors of the Pottstown Public Library will be hosting the library’s third annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser on November 7, 2009 from 7 to 9 PM at the library.  Space is limited, but still available.  Please contact the library for tickets – $40.00 donation per person, or 10 for $350.00.

Fine unique wines will be presented by Dean and Lisa Foster of Vintage Connections, and paired with exquisite foods catered by Bause-Landry Caterers.  The atmosphere will be enhanced by live classical guitar and wine basket raffles.

Vintage Connections is a wine education and consulting business created by Dean and Lisa Foster, wine educators and consultants.  Dean and Lisa have been wine enthusiasts for over fifteen years, have visited hundreds of wineries, taught wine appreciation classes at Montgomery County Community College’s West Campus in Pottstown, and are active members of the American Wine Society Perkiomen Chapter.

As Vintage Connections, they offer a variety of educational services including
1. Beginner and intermediate wine appreciation classes
2. Customized wine tastings for businesses, organizations, or in private homes
3. Food and wine “pairings” that enhance the taste and enjoyment of both the food and the wine
4. Wine tastings and wine dinners as fund-raisers for non-profit organizations.

This is their second year as the Wine Presenters for the Pottstown Public Library Wine Tasting.
